  VALENTINE ROSTI RECIPE


Valentine Rosti

Valentine Rosti (Serves 2)

Ingredients:
  • 4 medium sized scrubbed potatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • sprigs of sage to garnish


    Method:
    Half the potatoes and boil in salted water for 3-4 minutes.
    Allow the potatoes to cool.
    Grate the potatoes with a course grater and then place in a bowl.
    Add the salt, pepper and sage
    Place the heart shaped cutter on a plate and cut through the mixture with the cutter.
    Repeat to make 6 hearts.
    Fry in oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
    Serve hot garnished with sage.
